Originally from the Philippines, Abraham Arrieta is a passionate people photographer and videographer based in Edmonton, Alberta. He is a graduate of Photographic Technologies and a current student of Media Communications and Production - Television and Media Production program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).

Arrieta loves all forms of art especially the genre of visual arts. He is driven with love and passion in creating timeless, inspired, and authentic people stories and photographs.

He is determined to apply his learnings in the world of media, journalism and storytelling. He is a Masthead Contributor in photography for NAIT’s student-run newspaper, The Nugget. He has worked as a sports photographer for NAIT Ooks Athletics since 2021.

In his free time, Arrieta devotes his efforts in building his photography business and doing creative visual works. He volunteers his time as a content creator for Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta (EDSNA).

Arrieta loves sports and entertainment. He plays basketball and table tennis and is an avid fan of movies and television series. Listening to music and playing guitar are among his favourite pastimes. He plans to pursue a career in directing and producing documentaries and films.
