I Am a People Photographer
Hello there! Thank you for coming to my newly published site. I thought I should make an introduction of myself and tell you a little bit about how I started my journey as a photographer. September in the year 1995, I was born in Quezon city, Philippines. I've never really known much about that city since my family move from place to place quite a lot. However, there were two places that really make up much of my rearing period. One was in the small town of Cainta in the province of Rizal. "I want to be a painter!" I remember me telling my parents. Perhaps I was a little bit surprised by their pessimistic response, but then over time I figured they were just overly concerned about me and my future. The second place was in the city of Parañaque. During my teen years, I was developing an interest in an alternative visual medium - Photography. I dreamed that one day I will buy my own camera and take pictures of anything I want. That was a pretty huge ambition for me at the time.
Fast forward, I now live in the city of Edmonton in Canada. The year is 2019 in the month of May when I finally quit my job and bought my very own camera! It was very tough decision to make. In retrospect, I would totally give myself a high five for making that leap. Since then, I vigorously go out and shoot everything. Slowly, I learn how to use my Fujifilm XT3 camera and use its features to my advantage. Thanks to all the creators in YouTube who, not only introduced me to a myriad of amazing gear that is out there to take pictures but also encouraged me to take awe-inspiring photographs. They were my first mentors.

At the time of writing this, I am currently in my last semester taking photographic courses at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). It is a two year program. In school, I began to love the art of taking portraits of people. Whether they be for business headshots, fashion, boudoir, or just plain creative portraits, I am all over it! I am hoping to gain all the knowledge and skills possible to make a wonderful career and adventure out of it. You can still consider me as an amateur photographer but I would rather be viewed as an aspiring creator. Making a positive influence and igniting the passion for other aspiring artists is my motivation. That is why I love taking photographs.
