Wedding Portraits

One of the biggest milestones in a person’s earthly experience is getting married. Certainly, weddings and other special occasion like this marks the beginning of family and married life. These occasions and ceremonies are sacred and is to be treasured for the rest of our lives. Special events such as weddings require a lot of meticulous and careful planning. It can also be a spontaneous event to adventurous couples! Wherever it is between the two ends of the spectrum, we can all acknowledge the need for such occasion to be documented or at least photographed.

My passion is in photographing people. I love the idea of capturing moments on special occasions such as weddings that will undoubtedly be treasured and cherished right away and in the future time.

While I was studying photography at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), I worked together with my classmates and put on a special project. We planned and executed a styled wedding photo session out in the beautiful National Park of Jasper in Alberta, Canada. We travelled a few hundred kilometers to witness and photographed this special event we created for our couple. We picked the dress and the suit, the flowers and the shoes. Choosing a location is a little difficult as we have a myriad of choices to choose from! But with the time that we have, we were able to pick the right one for our lovely couple. It was wonderful to see how we worked together as a team to realize this beautiful event in our couples lives. Without further adieu, here are some of the images from our wedding photo session.
